Questions about Product Maintenance

My TIZIP® zipper is soiled. How should I go about cleaning it?

All of our zippers can be washed with warm water and a mild soap. Please refrain from using abrasives, solvents, pure alcohol or acidic cleaning agents. A soft brush is also suitable.

How do I apply the TIZIP® lubricant?

Proper maintenance of our TIZIP® zippers may vary depending on the model in question. If it is necessary to use a lubricant, make sure to use the original TIZIP® lubricant or a comparable product. However, make sure to clean the zipper before attempting to lubricate it. For more information, please refer to our product maintenance sheet.

What should I bear in mind when storing or transporting TIZIP® products?

Make sure to close your TIZIP® zippers for purposes of storage and transport. Also make sure that their place of storage is clean and dry.

Can I order TIZIP® zippers in specific colors?

While our standard zippers are black, they can be produced in various colors. For more information in this regard, please contact the distributor responsible for your region.

I operate a repair shop for scuba diving gear and other watersports articles. Do you offer a special zipper program for businesses like mine?

We offer repair shop operators a standard-length program for the TIZIP® MasterSeal 10 and MasterSeal O10. The minimum order volume is 25 units, which can be selected from among nine different lengths. For more information in this regard, please contact the distributor responsible for your region.

Questions about Customer Service

We do not handle such cases directly. Please contact the customer service department of the store where you purchased the article in question.

I am Titex customer and purchased a TIZIP® zipper directly from Titex that appears to be defective. What are my repair, replacement or remuneration options?

Please contact the distributer responsible for your region or info@tizip.com directly. Keep the following information ready: the number of your TIZIP® zipper (written on the puller or the slider) and the Titex invoice number.
